Mr. Kianmahd manages the acquisition, entitlement, and development processes and guides the design, construction, and management teams.

Danny, an L.A. native, launched The Panorama Group after recognizing that seniors seek to age in-place in the communities where they raised their families, and urban Los Angeles neighborhoods are woefully under-supplied in senior housing.

Prior to forming The Panorama Group, Danny served as the Director of Acquisitions of MBK Senior Living (“MSL”), an owner and operator of independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities located across the Western US. At MSL, Danny was responsible for originating new acquisitions that MSL acquired with internal funds or with its joint-venture partner, HCP, Inc. (now Healthpeak Properties, Inc.; NYSE: PEAK). During Mr. Kianmahd’s tenure, MSL’s portfolio grew to 21 properties under ownership and/or management valued at over $500 million, comprising 2,000-units across the Western US.

Before MSL, Mr. Kianmahd worked for Combined Properties, Inc., a Beverly Hills-based retail real estate owner/operator and urban infill development company, in their acquisitions and development group. Mr. Kianmahd began his career with Wells Fargo Securities / Eastdil Secured where he was involved with over $4 billion of REIT and private equity capital market transactions, ranging from debt and equity raises to M&A and IPO transactions.

Mr. Kianmahd is involved with the Urban Land Institute, Jewish Federation Real Estate and Construction Division, UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate and Cornell Real Estate Council.
